#iProduce: #DropBox & #SoundCloud

Hello everyone. Today's blog is about files. While crafting tracks in my iPhone and on my laptop this week I was considering the fact that not all of my apps have a dropbox codec. This may be the key component that drives most successful apps like iMPC, BeatMaker 2, & BeatPad. I was really blown away by the option to mix down files and upload them to dropbox. With this option, I can transfer files from myself to other producers with a link for them to download as easy as 1-2-3. Unfortunately, some of my apps that have the best sounds do not have an upload codec at all. But, I have been able to supplement the lack in that area by uploading to SoundCloud. SoundCloud has recently launched an effort to allow people to make money from their tracks and accounts. I was saddened to find out that this option is only extended to a select few. Let's hope that our participation in helping SoundCloud to become the beast that it is in the industry will cause the owners to return the favor by sharing their profits with the people who built it. SoundCloud and dropbox are my to go to tools these days. I used them to craft beats for my last two projects and two of my upcoming projects. If you are an up and coming audio app designer, it would be nice to have a Google Drive "sign in" as well. Peace to Jerusalem
